Just over 3 years ago we shot at Joe and Ashley’s wedding. This time Joe was the best man for his best friend Adam’s wedding (thanks for the referral Joe). It’s great seeing familiar faces and we had just as much fun at Lauren and Adam’s wedding as we Ashley and Joe’s.
We started the day out at Salvatore’s Grande Hotel as the girls prepared for the wedding. It’s always fun when the bride and groom leave a little note to each other. Adam almost wrote a book!
We always like to get a picture of the dress, and it so happened that the dress location was perfect for us to add Lauren in the background in her wedding day bride robe.
Since we had Lauren already on the bed we decided to add in all the girls for a group shot with the bridal robes Lauren bought them. Next for fun, we did a jumping on the bed picture. Luckily the ceilings are very high at Salvatore’s.
Next we headed to Christ the King Church in Amherst and did a few shots with the guys. All eyes were on the bride as her father Joseph walked her down the aisle to her groom.
It was a beautiful ceremony, and then we took off to Glen Falls Park for bridal party pictures. One of their friends brought over Lauren and Adam’s dog for a few shots. We had to hurry because no pets are allowed at the park! I really love when couples incorporate their pets. Dogs are family and it’s just makes sense to get a few pictures with them.
Then we took a few more pictures with the wedding party.
Lauren had purchases a couple of bride and groom balloons that we were going incorporate in to a picture. However, these were some seriously huge and thick balloons. Adam and Joe tried very hard to blow them up but it turned out to be impossible. I guess we needed a high pressure helium tank. We all had a few laughs watching them try.
Next we were off the reception at the Lancaster Country Club. I really liked the DIY meet the bridal party sign Lauren made.
And we can’t forget the amazing cupcakes! All summer I’ve been trying to lose a few pounds, but with all the wedding cake and cupcakes it’s so hard lol.
Then it was time for introductions and dances.
Following dinner everyone danced the night away and many enjoyed the wedding “cigar bar” Even the bride joined in! We’ve seen more cigar bars in 2017 than all the other years put together. It used to be chocolate buffets, but now the trend is leaning towards cigar bars.
Congrats Lauren and Adam from all of us at Everlasting Memories.
